Provides 6 inputs for Hall-effect current-clamps to measure domestic and industrial power consumption. Energy usage data can be stored by the Arduino, accessed in real time, or reported to another system via wireless or wired connections.

This shield also provides mounting headers for an XBee wireless module, allowing it to be part of a wireless mesh network of sensor / control nodes. It also includes a reed relay output that can be used to trigger a larger external relay or drive another system directly for control purposes.
